JeongYoon Choi was born in Seoul, South Korea. Driven by and having been exposed to constant challenge from peers and at home, she learned not only to adapt, but also to thrive academically and stay ahead of her competition. She graduated from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology) with a Master’s in Engineering. Afterwards she worked as a consultant at Accenture and a strategic manager at Kakao Corp, overseeing several major acquisitions.
Through her experience in technology and exposure to fashion in South Korea, our founder built myprojectRunway at the intersection of both worlds. Our mission is to empower users to connect with like-minded fashion enthusiasts and experts, discover emerging trends, and collaborate on style—making fashion more accessible, inclusive, and cutting-edge.
